WorldToolKit version 1.01 is a library of 250 functions written in C. Itenables developers to build 3-D graphical and virtual realityapplications. From writing custom sensor drivers to rapidly prototypingrealtime simulations, WorldToolKit includes a rich set of functions thatprovide a wide range of functionality.WorldToolKit is available on the SPARCstation 2 or IPX, and requires theGX Plus graphics upgrade. WorldToolKit manages tasks of rendering,reading input sensors, importing model geometry, and it supports a widerange of simulation functions. Developers are left free to concentrate onthe implementation of 3-D application details. WorldToolKit customershave built applications that range from realtime financial data (stockoption) analysis to virtual reality systems used to evaluatearchitectural spaces for the handicapped.
